Free 3D Screensavers

Screen savers have come a long way since the early days of flying toasters. Today's designs can easily smoke these early versions, which were originally developed to prevent burn-in on cathode ray tubes. Burn-in is less of a problem with modern monitors. Today, screen savers mostly serve as a fun way to customize a computer for entertainment purposes.

Contemporary designs feature 3D graphics, and some of them even have accompanying audio. Popular designs include nature scenes, swimming fish, and holiday themes. Today's screen savers showcase the skill and creativity of computer programmers. These new software designs feature incredible 3D animation, and allow computer users to express themselves. Imagine the possibilities! One could have a tropical aquarium with beautiful swimming fish during the summer, a beautiful nature scene with falling leaves and deer for the autumn, and a festive Christmas screen saver during the holiday season. It is so easy to switch to a new and unique option!
